Inspired by nature and poetry, Blackbird Sang was founded in 2016, taking its name from the poem Adlestrop by Edward Thomas. A portion of their revenue funds conservation projects like meadow restoration. Co-founder Genny, with an MSc in Conservation Ecology, manages local Oxfordshire conservation groups, while co-founder Tony blends low-waste production with art to create innovative designs.
Committed to local production, their UK-made products use minimal plastic-free packaging. Blackbird Sang places nature, people, and planet at the core of their mission, continuously improving and supporting the West Oxfordshire economy.

ARTCUTS
Artcuts is a family-run business creating high-quality wooden products and decorations, committed to sustainability and craftsmanship.
Founded in 2012, they have organically grown their collection of handcrafted laser-cut shapes made from birch wood sourced from sustainable forests in Finland.
Their plywood designs are made to their own specifications and are exclusive to Artcuts, ensuring unique creations.

BEEVIVE
In 2018, during a short break in Cornwall, BEEVIVE was inspired by a unexpected encounter with an exhausted bee. After reviving it with a sugar-water mix, they watched it buzz back to life. This experience ignited their passion for bee conservation, recognising the vital role bees play in our ecosystem.
Determined to make a difference, they created the Bee Revival keyring, a clever tool designed to provide an instant lifeline to fatigued bees, helping to combat their decline and raise awareness.

BRIE HARRISON
Brie Harrison is an artist and illustrator known for her vibrant botanical designs across greetings cards, prints, and homeware.
Inspired by nature, her work reflects her passion for plants, pattern, and colour, often drawn from her Suffolk countryside walks and travels.
Brie’s distinctive unique designs have helped grow the business in a mindful way. Brie has collaborated on projects for the V&A Museum, Cotton Clara, and Snape Maltings.

With a legacy stretching nearly 300 years, Burgon & Ball began its journey in Sheffield, England, in 1730, crafting premium solid steel sheep shears. Their expertise in producing exceptional tools is unmatched.

CATHERINE TOUGH
Catherine Tough blends bold, playful design with traditional craftsmanship, inspired by her mother’s love of knitting. After studying at the Royal College of Art, she built a Hackney-based brand known for cosy, handmade socks, scarves, and lavender cushions—all crafted with ethically sourced yarns and a focus on sustainability.

Founded in 1981, Creamore Mill is a family-run design and woodturning workshop based in Shropshire, England. Specialising in handcrafted home and garden pieces, Creamore Mill combines traditional craftsmanship with timeless design. Founded in a small workshop, the family business continues to grow, crafting each piece with care and precision.
