This is my third pair of Niwaki secateurs, the other two cost twice as much and more. I honestly can't see what makes the other ones that much better to justify the price. These are nice, solid, very well build and very comfortable to use.
Bare handles which I covered with heat shrink so they look like the expensive ones.
Japanese secateurs are absolute pleasure to work with and these are no exception. Simple spring, simple locking mechanism, made to last forever.

I bought 3 of these scrummy looking tins of fruitcake for my family and they've eaten them and l didn't get one piece. Luckily l have had one of these before, last year and it was packed with fruit. It was delicious. I would certainly buy again!
