Identifying trees in winter is a honed skill, join The Royal Parks' Arboriculture Officer Greg Packman to discover the trees of Hyde Park.
The walk will begin with an introduction to the key characteristics used in the identification of trees at this time of year, giving you a strong foundation on how to identify trees. Bud shapes and bark will feature highly when leaves, fruit and flowers can’t be seen. We will then take a walk around Hyde Park and show you the key things to look out for when identifying our fabulous trees in winter.
Designed for adult attendees, over 18 years of age. We offer free spaces for those in need. For more information on eligibility and how to book please call us on 0300 061 2291 or email publicprogrammes@royalparks.org.uk.
The Royal Parks charity provides 5,000 acres of urban green respite in the centre of our bustling capital city. If you value your Royal Parks, please consider making a gift. It will make all the difference to their future.
