Greenwich Park

Did you know that there are over 250 different species of bee in Britain and that a large proportion of them are solitary and nest underground? Greenwich Park offers a variety of habitats for solitary bees to nest in.

Join entomologist Claudia Watts for a walk through the park to look for different bee species and learn more about these beautiful and fascinating insects.

This walk is part of Mission: Invertebrate, a Royal Parks Project that aims to further understand, celebrate and protect the invertebrates that are in our parks and beyond! Find out more about us here: https://www.royalparks.org.uk/get-involved/missioninvertebrate

Suitable for those over 18's only. This event is free thanks to Players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
