Did you know that trees can change their sex, that slugs have both female and male reproductive organs, and that many of the birds found in the Royal Parks pair up into same-sex couples? This spring, join consultant ecologist Connor Butler on a 90-minute guided nature walk through the Royal Parks to explore the interconnection between Queerness and nature.
These are adult only events (18+) aimed at those interested in seeing nature from a new perspective. These walks are part of the Help Nature Thrive project and are offered free thanks to the wonderful players of People's Postcode Lottery.
The Royal Parks charity provides 5,000 acres of urban green respite in the centre of our bustling capital city. If you value your Royal Parks, please consider making a gift. It will make all the difference to their future.
