With Buckingham Palace on one side and Downing Street on the other, this walking tour of St James’s Park will put you at the heart of many momentous events in British history. The first half takes in the park’s royal history, revealing how it helped court a King’s mistress, the exotic royal pets it’s been home to and its dark underbelly.
In the second half, you’ll go behind the scenes with exclusive access to Duck Island, the park’s hidden nature reserve. The Royal Parks’ expert Wildlife Officer will give you a tour of this tranquil spot, before ending the walk with the resident pelicans’ daily feeding.
Aimed at attendees over 18 years of age.
We offer free spaces for those in need. For more information on eligibility and how to book please call or email Laura McMahon on 0300 061 2291 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note, following advice from the Prime Minister to avoid all unnecessary social contact due to COVID-19, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the walk.
