With Buckingham Palace on one side and Downing Street on the other, St James’s Park is at the heart of many momentous events in British history.
Join us from the comfort of your own home to explore the incredible history of the oldest of the Royal Parks. From King Henry tearing down a lepers hospital and the beheading of King Charles to the draining of the lake to help protect the country during World War One, we will uncover the wonderful and weird stories of this famous green space.
This is an online event aimed at adults, using Microsoft Teams Live. Full joining instructions will be sent to you when you register.
This event is free to join, but please may we ask you to consider donating £5 or whatever you can afford. As the charity that cares for 5,000 acres of green space in London, your support makes all the difference to the work of The Royal Parks.
